If
Cordoba is a sleepy
town, Toledo is slightly less so. Not a lot going on at night but scenic
and worth the stop nonetheless.
While in Toledo, we didn't spend our time inside cathedrals, mosques or other historic monuments; instead we wandered around the city taking in all of the beauty of our surroundings. Positioned atop a hill and wrapped by its city walls and the river Tajo, Toledo's beauty is striking. Much like Sevilla, the city streets are narrow and winding and simply exploring them was enough for a nice visit.
