The Lemley's have a nice cabin up on Hernando Island and from time to time we are lucky enough to go there. It's amazing: we always see loads of bald eagles and seal, and occasionally we see porpoise and deer. We also often see fresh prawns and crab which are tasty rewards after long days of beach combing and exploring! 

The journey to Hernando is a 12 hour haul, most of which is spent sitting in a car with a pleasant chunk spent on ferries and boats. Once we were fortunate enough to take the express route... by floatplane!
