No trip to Spain is complete without a trip to Granada to see the Alhambra--an ancient walled city sitting atop the Sabika hill. It's three main features, the Nasrid Palaces, the Alcazaba and the palace gardens of the Generalife, are simply beautiful.

We enjoyed seeing the Moorish influence throughout, often noting the Arabic writing within some of the floor, wall and ceiling details.

Even the stone paths winding between the palaces and throughout the gardens were nice. Light stones woven with dark stones to form often very elaborate patterns... awesome!
